Bruce and Jamie Watson – Another Anthem For The Damned

Track Records – TRA 1064

Bruce Watson co founder of Big Country and co song writer of many of their hits (“In A Big Country”, “Fields of Fire”, “Chance”, “Wonderland” & “Fragile Thing” to name a few), began performing with his son Jamie in 2008. They released a live album, “The Portastudio Diaries” and father and son discovered a musical empathy with each other such that they decided to go into the recording studio and record new songs. “Another Anthem For The Damned” is the result.

Bruce says “It’s great to be back on Track Records. The label is legendary and I was so glad that Ian Grant took it over in the 90’s. He signed Big Country up when we were without a label. Thank goodness for that as we had 12 new songs to record. The album was called ‘Driving To Damascus’ and it proved to be our Swansong. We toured it for a few months and had a fantastic time doing so. My son, Jamie Guitar Watson and myself have been busy recording acoustically in friends studios and this is the result. It is a pleasure to be part of the Track roster”.

Initially, “Another Anthem For The Damned” will only be available via the Track Records website. In May it will be released as a download album with bonus tracks added.
