Skids

Well it’s that time of year again and I would like to thank you all for
your support again.

As you know both Jamie and I have played a dozen shows in our own right as well as performing with Skids at Homecoming show last month.

We have been busy recording new material for our album which we hope to release in March.

All sessions have been recorded locally at Monochrome and Backroom studios.

Both Magnus and Rab have been fantastic at accommodating us and are wonderful engineers.

We are nine songs into the album and the final song will be recorded in January, along with a few ‘slippery’ friends on board as well.

No shows planned until Feb/Mar as we want to get all recordings
mastered and finalised by end of Jan.

We have been speaking to Dunfermline venues and it looks like we could have an intimate album launch as well as a few other shows in the ancient capital.

Hoping to get a new agent involved as well, so there may be some shows
further afield.

All in all, it’s been a good year for us, a few gigs, a new batch of songs and some good times.

Many thanks to all who travel great distances to attend our shows.

We intend to get a bit busier next year.

To all Skids/Big Country supporters, you are the best.
